The NBA play-in tournament kicks off tonight, and the Brooklyn Nets will thankfully get the extra week of rest and preparation for the Philadelphia 76eres. Adam Armbrecht takes a look at the Eastern and Western Conferences, where several play-in teams fall under the "disappointing season" category. There is still plenty of veteran talent however, which has Adam calling for both eight seeds to get bounced.

For Brooklyn, there are plenty of matchups inside the Philadelphia series that could determine the playoff series. Nic Claxton, who has been everything Nets fans dreamed on, will now be tasked with both defending Embiid while also taking it to him on the offensive end. These are two players built in completely different molds but if Brooklyn wants to win it will need the double-double, shot blocking, rim running talents of Claxton to be on full display.
