LA was California's main wine producer in the 19th Century. But it was wiped off the winemakers map due to Prohibition, crop disease, and a population boom. Now Angeleno Wine Company, a downtown LA winery that opened in July, is trying to revive the city’s wine-making roots. The co-owners pick the grapes from within LA County, and bottle the wine by hand.
