On today’s show, do dogs understand time and what is behind their internal clock? Then we take time out to celebrate the canine stars of the big screen with author and film journalist Wendy Mitchell. Can dogs tell the time? If you ever get the feeling your dog knows what time it is, you’re not alone. But without telling the time in the literal sense, how do they seemingly know when it’s time to eat, time to sleep or time to play fetch? The answer isn’t straight forward, in fact there’s more than one reason at play. We take a look at this phenomenon and some of the factors that could have you believing your dog is secretly wearing a watch. Do dogs have a concept of time? Dogs that know when their owners are coming home Wendy Mitchell, Author of Citizen Canine: Dogs in the Movies As a film industry insider and journalist, Wendy Mitchell has a unique perspective on the business.
