No team got dismantled by the NCAA Transfer Portal the way the Arizona State Sun Devils football did this offseason. Tons of starters were lost both on offense and defense, leaving a lot of questions and uncertainty about the 2022 season. Offensively, the Sun Devils must replace key contributors like Jayden Daniels (LSU), DeaMonte "Chip" Trayanum (Ohio State), Ricky Pearsall (Florida), LV Bunkley-Shelton (Oklahoma), and several other wide receivers and offensive linemen. Arizona State was able to aggressively attack the NCAA Transfer Portal to bring in some potential replacements like Emory Jones at quarterback, Xazavian Valladay at running back, Cam Johnson at wide receiver, and some other pass-catching threats plus some offensive line depth. Are all these moves enough to replace or even upgrade at the positions that lost the most? Host Richie Bradshaw is here to discuss just that on this edition of the Locked On Sun Devils podcast.
