The Cincinnati Reds have a solid starting eight, but not a ton of help behind them. Jeff looks at where the holes are and what they have currently in the organization that could help the Reds, should a rash of injuries plague them during the year. He also talks about minor league signings with invites to Spring Training and why one major league signing could tilt things in the Reds favor.

On a roster that will be relying on players who have dealt with injuries, like Nick Senzel, Sonny Gray, Tyler Naquin, and Mike Moustakas, depth is an important thing to have. The Cincinnati Reds don't, though. Sure there are guys like Max Schrock, TJ Friedl, Dauri Moreta, and Reiver Sanmartin that have piqued fans' interest, but they're not necessarily reliable options at this early juncture in their careers. Moves are necessary, and the ones the Reds have made now come into greater focus. They need to do more, though.
