Breaking news to just come out of Bulls camp being that former Philadelphia 76ers assistant general manager has agreed to a deal to join the Chicago Bulls as the full time general manager. Eversley, who is a native Canadian spent time with the Wizards and Raptors in a variety of roles before helping the 76ers get back to winning days. He was with Philadelphia when they drafted superstar Ben Simmons, and presumably played a role in Philadelphia's aggressive play in both trades (where they acquired Jimmy Butler), and free agency where they most recently gave max deals out to Al Hoford and Tobias Harris. Notably, Eversley will become the Bulls' first person of color to serve as general manager, which is something important to note when you look at the Bulls trying to build a team filled with people of different cultures.
