The Milwaukee Bucks humongous net of head coaching candidates seems to have finally caught them all, as Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer reported over the weekend that the Bucks are progressing to a second round of interviews. Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti reacted to that and the final few potential interviewees on the latest Gyro Step podcast, plus some thoughts on how the NBA Playoffs have colored their view on coaching, if the Bucks were still right to move on from Mike Budenholzer even though the Miami Heat are one win away from sweeping the Boston Celtics and heading to the NBA Finals, and some juicy quotes on the coaching search courtesy of Jim Owczarski in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Finally, near the end of the pod Rohan and Ti discussed a report via Jordan Treske (and Marc Stein) that the Bucks are expected to bring back Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez this summer, although the details on how they’re doing that and re-tooling the roster are very much TBD.
