The Boston Bruins were victorious in their home opener thanks to some fine efforts from players in the bottom 6.

The 6-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes was highlighted by A.J. Greer's first goal in the spoked B, which he gave a great big smooch in celebration.

Nick Foligno also recorded his 500th career point, and is halfway to matching his goal output from last season.

On the flip side, Brandon Carlo was injured after a hard hit, prompting the recall of Dan Renouf. It's a concerning one considering Carlo's concussion history.

Plus, updates on injuries to Brad Marchand, Jake DeBrusk, and Matt Grzelyck, and a preview of tonight's game against the Florida Panthers.
