The death toll from devastating floods in southern Brazil now stands at more than 100 people, with rains this week interrupting rescue efforts, as authorities desperately search for 128 still missing.

More than 230,000 people have been displaced, and 1.4 million people affected across Brazil, with much of the Rio Grande do Sul region left isolated by floodwaters.
