On today's Locked On Giants podcast, host Ben Kaspick discusses the San Francisco Giants' win over the Cubs on Friday afternoon. Brandon Belt wore a captain's C on his chest made out of electrical tape, and he went out and delivered one of his best games of the season. Evan Longoria had put the C on Belt's jersey, not expecting him to wear it on the field. Longoria and Belt both hit two-run homers in the 7th inning. It was another successful bullpen game for the Giants, started by Dominic Leone. The strategy has worked pretty well for the Giants of late, and today the 'pen was able to hold the Cubs to one run on two hits all day. Coming up this weekend, the Giants will go with Kevin Gausman and Logan Webb, putting them in great position to potentially clinch a playoff berth and perhaps expand their division lead over the Dodgers, which grew to five games after Friday's win.
