His latest book is “From Strength to Strength: Finding Success, Happiness, and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life.” Jon Gruber talks about his results from a study into different benefit options for the gig economy. Gruber was instrumental in creating both the Massachusetts health care reform and the Affordable Care Act, and his latest book is “Jump-Starting America: How Breakthrough Science Can Revive Economic Growth And The American Dream.”* * We end the show by talking with listeners about a 1970s study that showed that Olympic athletes would accept certain death within five years if guaranteed a gold medal.
