Farah Stockman talks about how class divides manifest themselves culturally and politically in the United States, and why higher class, well educated communities struggle to understand and represent the majority of Americans. Farah Stockman is a member of the New York Times editorial board, and a Pulitzer prize winning reporter. Her latest book is “American Made: What Happens to People When Work Disappears.”

John King updates listeners on the latest political headlines, including why Republicans have an advantage moving into midterm elections following the latest wave of gerrymandering, and what it means for Democrats. King is CNN’s chief national correspondent and anchor of “Inside Politics,” which airs weekdays at noon and Sundays at 8 a.m.
