BPR Full Show 6/14: Father's Day Fannie Pack
We opened the show to ask about outdoor dining. John McDaniel is a Tony, Grammy & Emmy-winning performer who used to play co-host to Rosie O’Donnell in the 90’s. Now he’s hosting a summer-wide music series, the John McDaniel’s Broadway Series, all summer in Provincetown. He joins for Live Music Friday alongside one of his featured guests, Tony-winner Alice Ripley. GBH's Callie Crossley discusses new Pew Research center polls showing vast majority of voters are pro-choice. Also, new GOP attempts to ban DEI and questions over whether Trump will attend the Republic National Convention. Javier Juarez directs the Boston Foundation’s Latino Equity Fund, he joins ahead of their 10th anniversary festival at Bow Market. He's joined by Carolina Garcia from Carolicious and Maria Nielsen from Amantolli. The Karen Read trial continues – we’ll talk to former Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral about Governor Healey weighing in, and how revenge porn is about to (finally) be outlawed in Massachusetts. Plus, the Supreme Court's ruling on bump stocks. Then, we closed the show by asking listeners about all things Father's Day.
