It's Earth Day. We opened the lines to discuss how to be environmentally friendly. Head of the Northeast region of the EPA David Cash helped us kick of Earth Day 2024, talking about the latest environmental news. Charlie Sennott checked in for his weekly world news roundup… this week he’ll talk about Congress securing billions for Ukraine, Israel, & Taiwan, and how leaders in those countries are responding. Art Caplan talked about the potential for AI to be used to help treat mental health and more. The Revs. Irene Monroe & Emmett Price discussed the radical and relevant-to-this-day message of Passover. Khalil Gibran Muhammad is the Ford Foundation Professor of History, Race and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. He weighed in on pro-Palestine protests at campuses across the U.S., including several here in Boston… he’ll also talk about national pushback to DEI efforts on college campuses. Nancy Gertner offered a quick analysis of opening statements at today’s Trump trial in Manhattan. We wrapped up the show discussing airplane etiquette.
