Hour 1 The Yankees won a game last night and the ‘Goomba Grabbers’ out in right field ripped a ball right from Mookie Betts’ glove in foul territory. Anthony Volpe was the hero with a grand slam in the third that made it 5-2 Yankees. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of John Sterling calling the Volpe grand slam. Jerry doesn’t like what these fans did but Boomer seemed to not have an issue with it. Aaron Rodgers talked about drinking water with cayenne pepper. Jerry Jones was on the radio in Dallas and was asked about ‘deez nuts’. In the final segment of the hour, an old caller wants the Yankee fans arrested for assault on Mookie Betts. Hour 2 The Yankees stayed alive with a win last night and have their ace, Gerrit Cole, going tonight. Boomer said the Yankees just have to not have the Dodgers celebrate on their field. Judge and Ohtani have been non-factors in these games. Paul O’Neill airmailed his first pitch last night. We also talked about how nice Mrs. Met’s butt is. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sound of John Sterling on the call as Gleyber Torres homered. Sterling does not sound well as he’s clearly fighting a cold of some sort. Anthony Volpe hit a grand slam. Mike Francesa is going to be on the livestream with Barstool Sports tonight. Steff Diggs is done for the season with a torn ACL. In the final segment of the hour, another caller thinks the fans from last night should be arrested for assault on Mookie Betts. Hour 3 Phil Simms joins us in his regular Wednesday spot. He thought the Jets offense played better this week, but the defense let them down on the last drive. Boomer asked Phil why Garrett Wilson always seems to go down after making a catch. We also talked about the Jets somehow being favored over the 6-2 Texans. Phil thinks it’s because the Texans are beat up and the Jets are home and are due for a win. We then talked to Phil about the Giants loss in Pittsburgh. As far as QBs for the Giants to draft, Phil doesn’t have an answer for that yet. He did say Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders jump out at you, but doesn’t know if they are first pick worthy. Phil likes Bo Nix and said Sean Payton has his next Drew Brees. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of John Sterling as Aaron Judge had an RBI single. Jerry has audio of Tommy Luguaer vs Tiki Barber when it comes to Brian Daboll. In the final segment of the hour, Genie Bouchard got a foul ball at the World Series, but realized she only got it after it hit a woman in the face. She gave the ball to the woman. Hour 4 The Yankees are alive thanks to some actual offense and a couple of Yankee fans in the crowd that ripped the ball out of Mookie Betts’ glove. Gerrit Cole is on the mound and this is why he’s here and this is why he’s paid what he’s paid. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of John Sterling calling the Anthony Volpe grand slam. Aaron Rodgers is drinking water with cayenne pepper and calls it the ‘fountain of youth’. Jeff Ulbrich met the media and thinks the Jets are close to figuring this out. Moment of The Day: A bunch of insults and a perfectly timed Eddie drop right on Boomer’s head. In the final segment of the show, BT said he was done with Volpe because he wasn’t going to get a big hit and then Volpe went out and hit a grand slam. Gio said he needs to say the same thing about Aaron Judge on today’s show. This is the last Yankees home game of the season, so enjoy it. Hopefully ‘the Goomba Grabber’ is back in his seat again tonight.
