Hour 1: As we all expected, the Mets/Braves games for Wednesday and Thursday were rained out and we will get a double header on Monday. The good news with that is maybe Francisco Lindor will be healthy enough to play. Before the Yankees game, Nestor Cortes went to the IL and Marcus Stroman started in his place. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Orioles beating the Yankees. Jasson Dominguez dropped a fly ball in left which led to 3 runs in the first. Carlos Mendoza talked about now turning their attention to the Brewers and worrying about Atlanta again on Monday. The Braves play the Royals Friday, if they can get there in a hurricane. The White Sox won again, stopping them from having the worst record ever in baseball. Jerry had some sound ready to go but Boomer didn’t seem interested because he already knew what they would say. John Elway was the masked singer last night, singing a Tim McGraw song. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about UNLV QB Matthew Sluka sitting out the remainder of the season because of a NIL situation. Hour 2: Tonight the Giants host the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium for Thursday Night Football. Is this the game the Giants finally beat Dak Prescott? The Cowboys and Giants have both been their best against the Cleveland Browns. Dak has won 12 straight against the Giants. Daniel Jones is 0-5 in his career on Thursday night. The Dallas defense has not been great, especially against the run. Boomer said Jones has to stand in there and be a man tonight. Boomer thinks the Giants will win tonight. ‘The Cowboys have looked like crap the last two weeks’ according to Boomer. If the Cowboys lose Mike McCarthy’s will be right on the hot seat. Boomer also said the Cowboys have nobody to cover Malik Nabers, but the Giants have nobody to cover CeeDee Lamb. Gio loves Dexter Lawrence because of his dominance and the fact that he doesn’t get much love outside of NY. Jerry returns for an update, but first we talked about NYC Mayor Adams being indicted. Jerry starts with the sounds of the Orioles beating the Yankees. Aaron Judge did hit #57. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talked about how tough Ocho’s mom was, including the last text message she sent him. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the live B&G show happening in November. The tix go on sale in a few minutes and for some reason we are listed under ‘seminars’. Hour 3: We talked about the betting lines in the Cowboys/Giants game tonight. Boomer wants his Giants fan friends to have a nice weekend. Gio cannot pick the Giants to beat the Cowboys until he sees it happen. Gio said he hasn’t had a good dream in a long time. We talked about Fleigs inability to smell or taste food. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Orioles beating the Yankees. Juan Soto homered and John Sterling was on the call. The Giants host the Cowboys tonight and Andrew Thomas had a message for the rookies on the team. Aaron Rodgers was asked about Breece Hall wanting the ball more. Derrick Rose announced his retirement from the NBA. In the final segment of the hour, there’s maybe a 5% chance of the Mets/Braves games not being played on Monday. A lot would have to happen with a lot of teams. Hour 4: Phil Simms will be in the radio booth tonight with Westwood One for the Cowboys/Giants game. Taylor Lewan said he is in the running to do sidelines for the Netflix NFL game. Boomer told a story about eating a bad clam. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with a preview of Cowboys/Giants tonight. Brian Daboll talked about Micah Parson’s ability. CeeDee Lamb talked about failing himself and the team last week against the Ravens. Diddy’s lawyer spoke to TMZ and had an answer as to why he had 1000 bottles of lube. Sean Payton was asked about the confidence of Bo Nix. Carlos Mendoza talked about turning their attention to the Brewers and not worrying about the Braves until Monday. The Moment of ...
