Hour 1 The Mets are on the brink of elimination. The Yankees lost last night in walk off fashion. Boomer talked about the importance of the bullpen in both of these series. It feels like the magic has run out for the Mets. Gio is going to the Mets game tonight. Gio doesn’t think last night’s win is going to ‘catapult’ the Guardians. He thinks the Yankees win in five. The Dodgers have seemed to figure out Francisco Lindor. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Judge and Stanton going back to back to make it 4-3 Yankees with John Sterling on the call. Then the Guardians came back to tie it in the ninth and win it in the tenth and we heard the call from Guardians radio. We heard from Howie Rose as Mookie Betts hit a 2-run HR as the Dodgers are now up 3-1 on the Mets. The Broncos went into New Orleans and had no problem beating the Saints. In the final segment of the hour, Max Muncy is always on base for the Dodgers. Their relief pitching has been better and their top end stars have shown up for this series and the Mets’ top end stars have not. Hour 2 Jerry Recco is in studio because a talk show host in Cleveland, Ken Carman, is annoying him on Twitter. He must listen to the Warm Up Show on his way to work in Cleveland and has an issue with a few of the things Jerry said about the Guardians. Jerry put him in his place. Jerry returns for an update and we hear the Cleveland radio call as Judge and Stanton went back to back. Cleveland came back with homers by Noel in the ninth and Fry in the 10th and we heard John Sterling on the call. We heard from Howie Rose as Ohtani hit a lead off HR last night in Queens. Mets players are staying positive as we heard some post game sound from Lindor and Alonso. The Broncos went into New Orleans and dominated the Saints. Evan Neal was asked about not playing as the Giants are now dealing with the injury to Andrew Thomas. Davante Adams said he’s not feeling any pressure coming to the Jets. In the final segment of the hour, tonight’s Mets game is at 5:08pm and Gio is imploring fans to get there early and get into it. The Mets have not given the fans anything to cheer for. Twice last night with the bases loaded and they came away with nothing. In tonight’s Yankees/Guardians matchup, you have two starters that haven’t pitched since September. Hour 3 We talked Giants/Eagles and Boomer said this should be a tight game well into the fourth quarter. Gio thinks if the Giants can score 24 points, they can win the game. Gio is feeling a 24-20 Giants win. Boomer said the Eagles defense only has 2 turnovers, the lowest in the NFL. If the Giants can keep that going they can win this game. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the TBS TV call of the Judge HR that tied the game at 3. And then Stanton went back to back. We also heard the TBS call when Noel tied the game in the ninth with a HR and Fry homered for the win. We heard from Mets radio as Mookie Betts had a 2-run double and a HR. Carlos Mendoza talked about the Dodger lineup. The Broncos went into New Orleans and had no problem beating the Saints. Saquon Barkley returns to MetLife and Jerry wonders how he’ll be received. In the final segment of the hour, it looks like Russell Wilson will start for the Steelers Sunday night against the Jets. Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t like that idea and supposedly the guys in the locker room want Justin Fields as well. No matter where he goes, Russell Wilson doesn’t seem to be popular in the locker room. Gio called him a douche and impossible to like. Gio said Aaron Rodgers is one hit away from getting hit and going back to Costa Rica. Especially against the Steelers defense. Hour 4 Glass half full: We need one more magical night from the Mets at Citi Field. David Peterson is on the mound tonight so we should be thinking positively. Glass half empty: the Mets can’t score on the Dodgers pitching. Boomer said the Mets lost the confidence or whatever they had the last two games. Pitchers ...
