Hour 1 The Giants finally got a win yesterday and Boomer wants to hand a game ball to the Giants Defensive Coordinator. Gio wants to give a game ball to Malik Nabers. Now they have the Cowboys on Thursday night and this is a game they have to win. The Cowboys are probably saying the same thing as they have not played great. Deshaun Watson was not good as the Giants defense smothered him all day. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first, who was in our studio over the weekend? Jerry starts with the sounds of the Giants beating the Browns as we hear from Bob Papa. Brian Daboll talked in the postgame on how things tailed off in the second half offensively. The Chiefs were not great, but good enough to beat the Falcons on Sunday night. Jerry doesn’t like the ‘stupid rule’ where you can only onside kick in the fourth quarter and only twice in a game. The Mets took 2-of-3 from the Phillies. Brandon Nimmo homered last night. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls from Giants fans. One wondered why Devin Singletary laid down at the 1 yard line instead of scoring and another thinks we’re not giving Daniel Jones enough credit. We also talked about the upcoming Thursday night game against the Cowboys. The Giants had to win in Cleveland and they have to win this home game Thursday. The spread right now is Cowboys -4 ½. Hour 1 Single Topics Segment 1- Game balls for the Giants Defensive Coordinator and for Malik Nabers. Segment 2- Jerry doesn’t like the ‘stupid rule’ with onside kicks Hour 2 We talked about tiebreakers in MLB concerning Wild Cards. I have no idea what they were talking about. We went to a caller who thinks Daniel Jones was not great even though some people are acting like he figured it all out. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Giants fumbling the opening kickoff and then giving up a TD one play later. Boomer really laid into Jerry about the Cowboys. The Chiefs beat the Falcons, but Cris Collinsworth can’t figure out why Mahomes and Kelce can’t get going. The Rams came from behind to be the Niners. Andy Dalton threw 3 TDs as the Panthers beat the Raiders. And Sam Darnold threw 4 TDs as the Vikings beat the Texans. The Mets beat the Phillies last night and took 2-of-3 this weekend. In the final segment of the hour, the Giants will try to ‘flip the script’ on Thursday to what generally happens when the Cowboys come to town. Gio said if ever there was a time to have the Cowboys on your schedule, this is it. The last time the Giants beat the Cowboys, Andy Dalton was the QB. Hour 2 Single Topics Segment 1- What’s the deal with MLB tiebreakers? Segment 3- Giants history against Dak Prescott is not good, but this might be the right time to get them Hour 3 This was a mish-mosh of a segment if you ask me. We talked about Boomer watching the games this weekend with the YouTube Sunday Ticket. A caller hit himself in the balls while golfing. The Bears are off to a disappointing start to the season and Justin Herbert is hurt. Will Levis will remain the quarterback in Tennessee but he threw another terrible pick yesterday. The Jets play the Broncos at 1pm on Sunday which is what you want if you’re on the Jets. They played Monday night, Thursday night and you finally get a 1pm home game. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Giants beating the Browns. Boomer said Dak owns the Giants, so if the Giants want to turn this around they have to win Thursday night. Daniel Jones gave credit to the coaches. Malik Nabers said they need to play better in the second half. Al tried a new Malik Nabers song in the Warm Up and it stinks. Jerry went around the NFL yesterday and Antonio Pierce said some of his players made ‘business decisions’. The Mets beat the Phillies to take 2-of-3. Edwin Diaz pitched 2 innings for the save. Ohtani and Betts went back to back and walked it off for the Dodgers. In the final segment of the hour, the Yankees play-by-play radio job is down to 2 guys accor ...
