In this Bonus Episode, we felt compelled to talk about the life, legacy, and personal impact of Anthony Bourdain, who died on June 8 at the age of 61. We also compiled a playlist that runs the last half of the episode featuring songs we know he'd love.

Bourdain's suicide is a shock to many. As world travelers, foodies, and as two young fathers committed to understanding the world, being proven wrong, and listening to the stories of the people that make up our vast & diverse world, we feel the shock on a very personal level. We wanted to share his impact on our lives, stories about our own "Bourdain experiences" as well as share some tunes we know he was passionate about. While we would never see eye-to-eye with the man over Phish, we 're big fans of the music he pushed - Class of '77 CBGB, QOTSA, straight-up guitar/bass/drums rock - and felt this was the best way to honor him and his legacy.

Songs featured in this episode are: The Stoogies: "Down On The Street," Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers: "Chinese Rocks," Mark Lanegan: "Hit The City," Dead Boys: "Sonic Reducer," Television: "See No Evil," Ramones: "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend," Queens of The Stone Age: "In My Head," Roxy Music: "Do The Strand," New York Dolls: "Personality Crisis," The Brian Jonestown Massacre: "Anenome."
