Submit ReviewNHL All-Star weekend is coming to a close, so Mike and Scott decided to record a quick little episode of the podcast to recap the festivities. They were also joined by Tyler Yaremchuk, whose hotel they gathered in to record the podcast. They cracked a few beverages, sat back, enjoyed the fantastic view of AC units outside of Yaremchuk's window, and just talked a little hockey.
They started things off by hitting on the Metropolitan Division winning the All-Star Game and Claude Giroux being named the MVP of the day. He's a player who could be traded soon so they also hit on that. From there, they also touched on what they would like to see done differently at next year's event, what their favourite moments were from this weekend, and what else the league could do to continue elevating the way this event works.
On top of that, they also got to their favourite moments from the day including a play that had Mike cheering in the stands. They also went back and talked about the skills competition and how Trevor Zegras absolutely stole the show. To close, they gave their parting thoughts on the weekend and what they took away from the 2022 All-Star weekend in Las Vegas.
