This year’s Golden Globe Awards were just handed out, and in case you haven’t been on Twitter lately, we’re not going to spoil Ricky Gervais’ monologue here. Let’s just say that the other celebrities who made it to the mic were a little more...complimentary of the industry. We have some commentary on the awards too, of course, but Gervais either stole the show or lit it on fire and watched the world burn, depending on your sense of humor. One movie that came up a few times during the show was 1917, a movie that barely squeaked into eligibility with a Christmas release. You might not have wanted to watch all the bloodshed during the Christmas season, but January feels just about right for some bleak carnage, so let’s talk about it now. You know what comes next. We want to hear what you thought of Gervais and the Golden Globes, and we want to hear it on Twitter (https://twitter.com/screenerscast/) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/screenerscast/).
