Four million children suffer a concussion each year in Australia, and at least a quarter of those will endure long-term symptoms. 

Now researchers from the Murdoch Children's Research Institute have identified a blood protein which could help identify those children who are likely to suffer longer-term effects, and help guide parents in preventing or managing concussion
