We are back in the studio at Roberta’s Pizza in Bushwick on the eve of NYC Beer Week 2023! Jimmy is joined by Zack Kinney, co-founder of KCBC brewery in Bushwick, and Louie Catizone, co-owner of St Agrestis distillery in Greenpoint.

The gang reminisce on Bushwick’s development into an oasis of food and drink, and what it was like to watch that process blossom from the homey vantage point of Roberta’s. Similarly, NYC Beer Week has grown as local producers and brewers have grown as well.

All the jazz of that neighborhood saga has been fermented and distilled down into “A Dance With Death”, a game-changing collaboration between KCBC, St Agrestis, and Roberta’s! This Amaro Barrel Aged Black Lager has layers of allspice, black roast, sarsaparilla, dried mint, oak tannins, and Alpine herbs. A totally unique beer to represent a totally rad community!

Grab a pair of headphones and listen in to get ready for NYC Beer Week 2023!
