Lovie Smith and Illinois came to town, and Nebraska provided the dominant effort everyone expected. Or not. With a close win and injuries to Cethan Carter, Jordan Westerkamp, Devine Ozigbo and others, Ryan and Pat were not in a super celebratory mood. But Mike Riley's big testicles came to the rescue once again. Nebraska survived and advanced. Now with a week off, Nebraska prepares for games against Indiana and Purdue before back-to-back showdowns against Wisconsin and Ohio State. How will the guys be feeling entering those games? That remains to be seen. But they do share their thoughts on the Huskers' game against Illinois, Bo Pelini, the Memorial Stadium reaction to Michael Rose-Ivey, and of course, Mike Riley's balls.
