Louis Jordan was born in Brinkley, Arkansas, where his father was a local music teacher and bandleader. Jordan started out on clarinet, and also played piano professionally early in his career, but alto saxophone became his main instrument. However, he became even better known as a songwriter, entertainer and vocalist. Songs in order of play are, Caldonia, Don't Let The Sun Catch You Cryin', Let The Good Time Roll, Somebody Done Changed The Lock on My Door, What The Use in Getting Sober, Choo Choo Ch'Boogie, Five Guys Named Moe, Knock Me a Kiss, Nobody Knows You When You Ard Down and Out, and School Days (When We Were Kids).
