Submit ReviewThe Quicky will be back with new episodes from January 15, but until then here’s one of our favourite episodes of this year. Thank you so much for being a part of The Quicky in 2023.
Earlier this year, the Therapeutic Goods Administration changed the classification of Psilocybin and MDMA to allow psychiatrists to prescribe them for use in treating some mental health disorders.
But with this change comes questions. Who will benefit from their use? Who will be eligible?
In today's episode of The Quicky, we speak to professionals to break down psychedelics for the treatment of mental health issues and whether this move really does open up the door to new treatments that could end the suffering of thousands. We also speak to a woman who lost her husband who's life may have been saved if he had access to these drugs.
