We're back for our final Black Critic Roundtable before the 2019 Academy Awards (not the last time we're getting together though). Unfortunately the ladies (Ro, Shanna & Joi) couldn't join us for this episode so it's just Kriss, Brandon and Tim on this episode. 2018 was a really GREAT year for films and directors, unfortunately the nominees for Best Director and Best Picture don't really reflect that. There are some glaring omissions here (The snub of Barry Jenkins and A Beale Street Could Talk is unforgivable).
