It's Corey's favorite time of the year...Spooky season. Thus,  Corey  (@coreyrstarr) or Jonathan (@berkreviews) started thinking of how to best tackle the month of October. Why not go with horror anthologies! This month, they are picking an anthology that they have never seen or at least not seen in a long time alternating their picks weekly...as they do.

As far as the podcast goes, each episode features an in-depth review of the movie for the week. They begin with a spoiler-free review before diving in completely after the needed spoiler warning. However, before getting into the review of the week, Jonathan and Corey discuss what other movies they've seen since the last episode as well as anything else they feel like discussing. To help them decide which of the many films to watch each month they started creating themes for them all.

Week 3: Trick 'r Treat (2007)

Jonathan picked Trick 'r Treat for the third week of anthologies. He was torn between this one and VHS, but opted for this one. Another five shorts are tied together through the holiday of Halloween. Written and directed by Michael Dougherty and starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, and Dylan Baker.
