EPISODE 24: US FIRST Perhaps today, as we head into a weekend of art fairs in LA, there’s no better time to discuss the social experience of art. That isolating, alienating illusion of a community art event that is the art fair–curated towards private experience and consumption, not towards inter-relational context, interaction or collective meaning making. There is an alternative to fair loneliness this weekend, and it revolves around the concept of relational aesthetics.
