After the hit web series “Kid President" wrapped up in 2016, its genius creator Brad Montague wanted to continue taking on projects for children in television and books. But, they wouldn’t happen and Brad thought that the world wouldn’t let him make anything else. To ease his pain and depression, Brad started visiting classrooms to hear from kids — tiny humans who inspired Brad with their fascinating, sometimes silly, but valuable thoughts and musings. In his tour, he didn’t make big speeches, but ventured to hear from his audience. He asked kids critical questions like ‘What does it mean to be a grown-up?’ and ‘How can we be better grownups?’ In this episode, Brad shares with us his own colorful journey, including the challenges and the silver lining of launching his second book “Becoming Better Grownups” in the middle of a pandemic. He’ll share what true kindness means to him and how our lives can be made better if we re-awakened the child within us. Learn more at montagueworkshop.com and beabettergrownup.com
