Did you know that from the third trimester, when we're still in our mom's belly until the time that we're about seven years old, we are deeply programmable, open to suggestions and often operating in the brain wave states most associated with being hypnotized?

Like little sponges, we soak up everything we hear, see and experience in our environments, including scary situations or mean statements like, “You're stupid, you're never going to learn, you're never gonna amount to anything, you're too fat, you're too ugly” and so much more.

All the stuff that people mindlessly don't think about when they're saying it around their children, or directly to them and sometimes the stuff they repeat even to themselves..

These statements then get absorbed, and we become conditioned and indoctrinated into these particular ways of seeing ourselves, the stories we tell and believe and ultimately shows up in who and how we are being.

Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we’re talking about being more mindful of what we allow ourselves to believe and what we’ll continue to allow in. When we're little kids, we’re not responsible for the things that were said to us or done to us.

However, we are responsible for what we choose to do with or about those thoughts, meanings and beliefs now that we’re older. It’s our task to recognize that those stories are no longer serving us and are in fact, inhibiting us to the point that they have become harmful.

Are you ready to rewrite your stories and transform your life?
