The Nets came back from the All-Star Break, but it was a little bit more of the same with this current iteration of the team. They ended up getting crushed by the Boston Celtics in a game that was really never close. It was a struggle early for the Nets to score against one of the top-rated defensive teams in the league, and on the other end of the court, Brooklyn struggled to get stops. This was just another example of the team having to play without its core pieces, and that’s just always going to be tough sledding. In the end, the Nets lose and the play-in game is looking likely. But could there be reason for optimism around some players’ returns?
