LifeLabs has closed 11 Patient Service Centres temporarily due to the spread of Omicron, and last week, at least 530 scheduled non-urgent surgeries were postponed in the province. Dr. Matthew Chow from Doctors of B.C. joins us to talk about the squeeze on health care caused by the latest wave of COVID-19; In our second half, Shobna Kannusamy joins us to talk about the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival, and we'll talk about hot drinks for a variety of cultures.
