The B.C. Coroners Service has released its report into last summer's deadly heat dome, finding that 619 deaths were heat-related. We talk to Dr. Jatinder Baidwan, chief medical officer of the B.C. Coroners Service about what's needed to protect people who are most vulnerable to extreme heat. And in our second half, the pandemic has taken its toll on education. Professor and dean at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Education, Kris Magnusson, joins us to talk about how Covid-19 has disrupted learning, and how we can get students up to speed.
