After Toyota beat out GM for the top-selling automaker in the U.S. market last year, some analysts say American automakers have lost their home turf dominance. At the same time, the Big Three have been making big investments in an electric future, which was clear from their offerings at this week's Consumers Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
