In the latest episode of The Passing Shot, the tennis podcast by fans, Joel and Kim reflect upon the Quarter Final stage of the 2022 Australian Open.

With three of the men’s quarters going the distance, they roundup the main talking points including those controversial comments from Denis Shapovalov, Daniil Medvedevv saving a match point and Mateo Berrettini bossing his way through the final set.

The ladies quarters saw Barty steamroll Pegula for the loss of two games, Madison Keys topple a flagging Barbora Krejickova and Igs Swiatek fight past Kaia Kanepi, as well as a resurgent Danielle Collins making another Slam semi. Joel and Kim try to predict who could possibly prevent the Barty Party unfurling come Saturday as well as rounding up the latter stages of the doubles action, with a potential all Aussie men’s doubles final on the cards.
