We focus, of course, on his short yet memorable 2 years at Everton; where he rolled back the years and earned himself a place in the hearts of all Evertonians. Richard shares the story of how he ended up at Everton, a story which involved Harry Redknapp, Alex Ferguson and Rio Ferdinand. Richard also talks fondly of the late and great Walter Smith as well as his experience of watching, playing against and with some Everton greats in the 80s. We also ask Richard about that infamous "scrap" with Don Hutchison and about his influence on the players and club off the pitch during the only significant spell on the sidelines he'd ever had in his career. in this 80 minute podcast Richard's knowledge of the game, appreciation of his fellow pro's and his sheer class shines through.
