The legendary DJ, Lee Butler joins Ian Mills and Phil Roberts in a brilliant Across The Park Extra! Lee tells us how he grew up as the legendary Billy Butler's son, who is a staunch Evertonian, but followed in his Mum and brother's path, in becoming a huge Liverpool fan. He tells us of his memories of Keegan and Dalglish, going the game and has the lad's in stitches with tales from his childhood, moving across the city and having his mates, football and girls taken away from him as he settled into a new school which was the complete opposite of what he had been used to. We of course, talk music and the nightclub scene and Lee tells us how music and clubbing captured his heart as a teenager, with memories of Liverpool's amazing Quadrant park nightclub, the state and Secrets! His career as a DJ is discussed in both nightclubs, and on Radio City before in brutal honesty, Lee tells us how his addiction to alcohol and drugs took over, and just how he beat his addiction as well as being focused on helping others beat 'the beast'. The amazing, In demand radio and Ravin fit are discussed, as Lee discusses his passion in producing great local content, with local dj's and amazing new music as well as his hopes of getting Ravin fit back after the pandemic.
