Wang, a Taiwanese-American clinical psychologist who also founded the Instagram account @asiansformentalhealth, has written a new book that combines the spirit of both month-long celebrations, called, balance.com/titles/jenny-wang/permission-to-come-home/9781538708002/">Permission To Come Home: Reclaiming Mental Health as Asian Americans. The book comes after the pandemic caused a rise in hate crimes against Asian-Americans in the United States. Dr. Wang joins us to talk about the importance of seeking mental health care as an Asian-American, as well as the obstacles that make care harder, and take your calls.
