Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was killed aged six by his father and stepmother in June 2020. Emma Tustin was convicted of Arthur's murder and sentenced to a minimum of 29 years while his father, Thomas Hughes, was found guilty of his manslaughter and received a 21 year sentence.
Today's Nick Robinson speaks to Arthur's maternal grandfather, Peter Halcrow, about the warning signs which he says were ignored leading up to his murder.
Nick also speaks to Baroness Hilary Armstrong, former Labour Cabinet Minister who chaired a recent report into the effectiveness of children's social services, which concluded that we face a crisis in child vulnerability which requires urgent action.
