Arrow really used the time with Oliver out of the suit and in prison wisely. The Slabside Redemption marks the end of Oliver's time in prison (and maybe of Diaz) but he leaves a completely changed man and probably closer to the Green Arrow/Oliver Queen from the comics. As Ben Turner says in this episode: Before you saw the world in black & white. Now you understand there is some gray. When Oliver does finally pick up the mantle of Green Arrow again, he's gonna have a far better motivation than he did when he started. Also give it to this show: Watching Oliver & Turner beat a bunch of people up was great. Michael Jai White might be the most disrespectful fighter of all time when it comes to the way his character always beats people up. We really loved this episode and it made the payoff of Oliver being in jail worth it. Oliver makes a choice that will affect his entire life, as well as the lives of everyone he cares about. https://oembed.libsyn.com/embed?item_id=7770527 Kriss and Dpalm record the Mailbag at the end of every month.
