The Arizona State Sun Devils won their first of two games in the Legends Classic vs the VCU Rams last night and now have a chance for a statement win not only for the Classic but for the 2022-2023 season against the #20 Michigan Wolverines. For the Sun Devils, their start to the 2022-2023 campaign has been a solid one at 3-1, and quite frankly even a 3-2 start with a solid performance against the Wolverines would be an awesome "feel-good" for the team. However, the Sun Devils have a chance to pull off this win and it could jump-start a magical season for the team. A win over an annual NCAA Tournament contender and currently ranked team would be huge for the Sun Devils' confidence moving forward. It would also give the team a signature win prior to the start of conference play.
