For this episode, Carrie and Jake discuss 'Anna Dressed in Blood' by Kendare Blake, a sweet, yet gory, horror YA book that they both really enjoyed.

They also record two introductions to the episode, talk about the importance of spelling out in advance what you want people to do if you get killed by a ghost, and Jake also tells a mildly gross story about an adventure he had while taking out the trash, Spoilers abound, so we recommend reading the book before listening!

The final day for entries into their songwriting contest is Wednesday May 17. You can find the rules and other information at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/18188266-songwriting-contest, and Jake will be posting daily haikus reminding people to enter the contest on the Love YA Like Crazy twitter account, @LoveYAPod.

In the next episode, we plan to discuss 'That Thing We Call A Heart' by Sheba Karim, which is due to be released on May 8.
