Ventrone is the favorite for the job, the same role he currently holds with Indianapolis. Ventrone had been with the Colts since 2018, before that he was the assistant special teams coach with the Patriots for three seasons. Ventrone is 40 years old and would give the Browns a young, well-regarded special teams mind. It could be especially beneficial for kicker Cade York.
