Claire with Ali Golds

Ali is 50 years old and has had a life less ordinary – she has a complicated backstory. This is a two-parter and in this second part (please do listen to part one first) Ali is just escaping a violent partner with her youngest son Conor. Ali goes on to reflect on her tricky childhood which contains an episode of abuse. We go on to hear about her first marriage, her time in the women’s refuge and her search for her daughter.

She looks back on this time with compelling insight from her son Conor who is now 19 and adds a fascinating viewpoint as he recalls things that happened to his family when he was much younger.

We’re delighted once again to be sponsored by 16 Degrees Coaching.  Don’t let your backstory dictate your future.  Contact James today to find out more about leadership and career coaching.
