Our children’s safety and wellbeing are of the utmost concern to us, and it is unlikely that a single day goes by without a parent wondering whether their child is okay at any particular, random moment, even if we are 99% sure of their current
whereabouts.Though our excessive care and constant worry might have us believe that their protection is completely in our hands, it is doubtful that we can prevent depravity from striking when it decides to do so. On April 26th, 2010, in Spring, Texas, a suburb town just outside of Houston, 16-year-old Alexandria Joy Lowitzer stepped out of her school bus, walked in the opposite direction of her home, and was never seen again. This is part one of her story.
