There was a time when anything with subtitles was considered far too intellectual and posh for mainstream consumption - but thanks in part to the meteoric rise in the fantastic Scandi-Noir genre, we now think nothing of settling down and applying a bit more concentration. This is rewarded with some incredible viewing. Imagine a world without 'The Platform', 'Money Heist', 'Lupin' and now... 'Oxygen'. Alexandre Aja is known for bringing us some of the most watchable horror of the past few decades, but thanks to lockdown, has had the opportunity to deliver this socially-distant claustrophobic Sci-Fi thriller starring Melanie Laurent.
