Data is the basic unit of discrete values that convey meaning, facts, quantities, or other units that computers operate on for further processing, interpretation, and analysis. Big data is what's helping power this latest wave of AI. Big data is an umbrella term used for data of significant size, complexity, variable format, variable quality, and frequency of change. It presents challenges for storage, processing, analysis, integration, and usage at required levels of detail, speed, and accuracy. In this podcast we review these terms in greater detail.
