David talks about those early days as he went from an apprentice, afraid to go into the first team dressing room for fear of unmerciful teasing, to his development into being a teammate of Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Smith and Kevin Keegan who was carving a very singular reputation as a man who could be relied on to score important goals.
