Using a deep-learning AI and diffusion-weighted imaging, researchers found elevated fractional anisotropy values in nine white matter tracts in individuals with ADHD. This could provide a more objective, imaging-based method of diagnosing ADHD, addressing the current dependence on subjective self-reported surveys.
